If necessary, adjust R401 (31) until front panel DATA DISPLAY indicates as close to 0 as possible. (Upper limit is 4 and lower limit is 177774.) Remove shorting plug from P4 of rf cable assembly. Connect P4 of rf cable assembly to unconnected connector of 13081706-69 cable. If necessary, adjust R405 (32) until front panel DATA DISPLAY indicates as close to 60000 as possible. (Upper limit is 60004 and lower limit is 57774.) Disconnect P4 of rf cable assembly from 13081706-69 cable. Press front panel POWER switch to remove power. CAUTION The A/D converter contains parts and assemblies sensitive to electro- static discharge (ESD). Use ESD precautionary procedures (para 2-21) when touching, removing, or inserting CCAs. Remove rf cable assembly from CCA. Remove CCA extender from slot J5. Remove CCA from CCA extender. Install CCA in slot J5. 8-12 Change 8
