NOTE
Perform the following procedures
at 12 month intervals.
ALIGNMENT
Alignment consists of running alinement
module DIGALIGN and self-test modules
DIGITST, PPGTST, and VSGST on AN/USM-410
automatic test equipment, as follows:
1. Run self-test program EOBST
(para 2-12).
2. When MAIN MENU is displayed,
select:
2) EO BENCH ALIGNMENT
MODE.
3. When ALIGNMENT MENU is dis-
played, select: 1) DIGITIZER.
If adjustments to preamplifiers
are required, remove seals from
preamplifiers and follow direc-
tions on VDT.
4. When MAIN MENU is displayed,
select:
1) EO BENCH SELF-TEST
MODE.
5. When SELF-TEST MENU is dis-
played, select: 2) SINGLE TEST
MODE.
6. When SINGLE SELF-TEST MENU is
displayed, select: 5) DIGITST.
7. When SINGLE SELF-TEST MENU is
displayed, select: 8) PPGTST.
8. When SINGLE SELF-TEST MENU is
displayed, select: 9) VSGST.
