Check contacts of mating connectors and repair
if required.
Install replacement 2A2A3A2DS1 and perform OSGST test.
If OSGST test passes, no further action required.
If this segment
displayed again, proceed to (b).
If another segment displayed, proceed
to that segment and continue troubleshooting.
Remove Digital Output CCA 2A2A6XX (slot 408). Check contacts of mating
connectors and repair if required.
Install replacement 2A2A6XX and
perform OSGST test.
If OSGST test passes, no further action required.
If this segment displayed again, proceed to (c). If another segment
displayed, proceed to that segment and continue troubleshooting.
Remove Relay Bracket Assembly 2A2A3A1. Check contacts of mating
connectors and repair if required.
Install replacement 2A2A3A1 and
perform OSGST test.
If OSGST test passes, no further action required.
If this segment displayed again, proceed to (d). If another segment
displayed, proceed to that segment and continue troubleshooting.
Remove Amplifier-Detector CCA 2A2A3A4. Check contacts of mating
connectors and repair if required.
Install replacement 2A2A3A4 and
perform OSGST test.
If OSGST test passes, no further action required.
If this segment displayed again, proceed to (e). If another segment
displayed, proceed to that segment and continue troubleshooting.
Remove Optical Signal Generator (OSG) 2A2A3. Check contacts of mating
connectors and repair if required.
Install replacement 2A2A3 and
perform OSGST test.
If OSGST test passes, no further action required.
If this segment displayed again, proceed to (f). If another segment
displayed, proceed to that segment and continue troubleshooting.
Check the following cable assemblies and repair as required:
W2
2A2W13
2A2W17
2A2W21
2A2W22
If any cable was repaired, perform OSGST test. If OSGST test passes,
no further action required.
If OSGST test fails and CALCST, PLLBUS,
MTRXSW, ADST, DIGITST, FPSST, and PPSST tests have been performed,
repair is beyond this level of maintenance.
Next higher level of
maintenance required.
If no cables were repaired and CALCST, PLLBUS, MTRXSW, ADST, DIGITST,
FPSST, and PPSST tests have been performed, repair is beyond this level
of maintenance.
