TM 11-6625-3081-23 7-18. FILTER AND DETECTOR ASSEMBLY 2A1A1A14 7-18 INPUT CODE: OAFOCUS a. DESCRIPTION This module tests the ability of filter and detector assembly 2A1A1A14 to respond to focus commands. The optical signal analyzer (OSA) focus mechanism is programmed to the home position and motor status checked. If motor status is in error, a prompt is displayed at the completion of the test. The focus mechanism is then programmed to move off the home position and motor status is checked. If the motor status is in error, a prompt is displayed at the completion of the test. The focus mechanism is programmed to the home position, and the motor status checked. If the motor status is in error, a prompt is displayed. b. REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE REFERENCE The following list provides a cross reference of replacement items to replacement procedures. The item column identifies the item to be replaced by reference designation and part number. The reference column identifies the procedural paragraph used to perform the replacement action. The VDT screen will display the proper sequence of repair/replace actions.
